Mid-Michigan Adult & Teen Challenge endeavors to help individuals become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.
Mid-Michigan Adult & Teen Challenge is a 12-month residential program for men and women overcoming life controlling issues such as drugs, alcoholism, self-harm, eating disorders, pornography, or anything someone is struggling with that takes them away from the love of God. Students spend a year, living in our program, learning how to have a surrendered relationship with God, and learning how to break free from the power that addiction had on their lives through the love of Jesus Christ. During the 12 months, time is spent in Bible study and education. It is our goal to provide a start for men and women and empower them to become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive. The program will provide an opportunity from the damaging atmosphere of the past and permit time to make quality decisions for a hopeful future.
Jesus’ healing ministry was perfectly balanced, which meant that the ministered healing to the spirit, soul, and body of people as well as delivering them from the powers of darkness. The purpose of Mid-Michigan Adult & Teen Challenge is evangelize to those that have life controlling problems and begin the discipleship process to the point where the student can function as a Christian in society, applying spiritually motivated Biblical Principles in their relationships of family, church, jobs, and the public. We believe that a new life in Christ will give students’ the power and ability to overcome their problems and live a more productive, fruitful life after completing the 12-month program.

The beautiful ministry of Teen Challenge in Saginaw grew from a small coffee house outreach known as Saginaw Youth Outreach.
